Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift is Taylor Alison Swift. Taylor Swift is an American country and pop singer/songwriter. Taylor Swift's tales tell the story of heartbreak and loss for a young girl. Swift discovered a love for music at an early age, and quickly moved from roles in theatre for children to her first appearance before the crowd of a thousand. In 2011, Swift at the age of 11, performed The Star-Spangled Banner during a Philadelphia 76ers' basketball game. Following that, she began to write her own music. Swift wrote original songs inspired by the country music of artists like Shania Twain (now known as the Chicks) and Dixie Chicks. Her material was a reflection of Swift's experiences as a tween alienation. At the age of 13, Swift's parents decided to sell their property in Pennsylvania to move into Hendersonville Tennessee so she could dedicate more time to courting country labels in nearby Nashville.
